Wootton Transportation Services is a provider of 3^rdparty truckload (TL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation. Frank Wootton opened our doors in 1986 with one goal in mind; to provide top quality transportation, with only the best and safest carriers in the industry, at a fair and competitive price.

Twenty years later, we continue to make inroads on our competition, forcing many to raise their standards to meet ours. Our award winning transportation management team combines over 250 years of industry experience and knowledge to move your freight from door-to-door, and beyond.

As a full service provider of 3^rdparty transportation, we proudly boast a contracted fleet of over 1500 of the finest and safest carriers in the industry. Our 96,000 unit inventory of mostly 53' 102" vans includes reefers, flatbeds, step & drop decks and is powered by 26,000 tractors.

We specialize in providing contracted carriers with traffic in their backhaul lanes. These lanes are often discounted in order to either get the carrier back to their home terminal, or to where they need to position their equipment. We currently have 90% of our shipper's headhaul lane traffic covered with contracted backhaul carriers. These wholesale discount rates are passed directly to our shippers.
